Dan Frueh Photography wanted a new site that focused on images and demonstrated both the quality of the work and the guiding aesthetic : a zen-like spareness (notice the near complete absence of explanatory text) and a keen eye for color and form. Contact information is always forefronted since the goal of the site is to persuade potential clients to make a phone contact or email for more information.

While the site defaults to a design best suited for the targeted 1024x768 resolution monitors, an alternate design for medium resolution monitors is only a click away. Carefully created meta tags and page titling make the site rank well in search engines. The site also degrades to older 3.0 browsers quite nicely.

A standardized naming schema for the images enables the client to easily add new images at any time without knowing any HTML.
