Header graphics suggest a theatrical curtain.Navigation was simple but very effective. An inverted "V" (that echoes both the "V" in Vail and the summit of a mountain) indicates the user's current location. The design for the Vail Summit web site featured a simple but effective animated text GIF "splash" tunnel that also allowed the pre-load of the rich header graphics. Textured JPEGS segued seamlessly into colored table cells in order to accomodate a variety of display scenarios. The look-and-feel of the site was crafted to complement the MMG Worldwide-designed logo.
